On Completion of CAPM training, 23 PDUs/ Contact hours are awarded to aspirants. This contact hour certificate serves as both PDU certificate and Contact hour certificate for the candidates who attend the CAPM Certification course.

To maintain your CAPM certification, you must earn 15 professional development units (PDUs) with mix of Leadership, Technical and Strategic topics every three years. So as to earn these PDUs, you may attend various trainings such as project management courses online, read books, perform voluntary activity for some firm like Project management organizations and many more. You have many options to earn PDUs.

The exam is conducted both offline at Prometric centers and online via Proctored process. The exam is conducted throughout the year via Prometric testing centers and there is a specific application process you need to follow to take this exam.

In Covid-19 period, PMI has made available CAPM Online which is Proctored one. It is also a paper based test but still there are prerequisite to be completed before attending the test

The CAPM exam is basically for 180 minutes with 150 questions. Also there are no negative markings for any incorrect answers. The test focuses mainly on traditional project management
